Shrubs - Fern leaf lavender

Fern Leaf Lavender is a bushy, compact evergreen shrub with finely cut silver-gray leaves.  It blooms continuously from late spring through summer.  Single or triple headed flower spikes grace the stalks.  Flowers are deep violet and tightly encircle the flower head.  They emit a strong earthy, medicinal smell.  Grows 18-24 inches tall & 24-36 inches wide.  Thrives in full sun.  Less cold hardy than some lavenders and should be protected during lower winter temps.  Excellent container plant.  Magnet for bees, hummingbirds and butterflies.
