Shrubs - Arizona Rosewood
Shrubs - Arizona Rosewood
The Arizona Rosewood is an evergreen shrub that can be used as a shrub or is great as a hedge. Arizona Rosewood is valued as a nonpoisonous substitute for oleander, although its early summer flowering is not nearly as spectacular and occurs over only a couple of weeks. It has a moderate growth rate from 10 to rarely 25 feet. The shrub is easily kept at 6 to 8 feet with proper water and pruning management. Foliage is lanceolate and leathery with medium to dark dull green leaves. White flowers over a relatively short period of time, late April to May.
