Citrus - Tangerine - Fremont

Around here we refer to the Fremont as the orange Life Saver because of the taste.  The fruit is medium in size with a medium-thick rind.  It is easily peeled and has a smooth surface and a bright reddish-orange color.  Flesh is a deep orange, tender and juicy. The taste has a rich flavor.  Seeds moderately numerous.  Early ripening but fruit retains quality exceptionally well past maturity.  The tree is moderately vigorous, upright-growing, nearly thornless, and productive but does not shade fruit sufficiently well to prevent some sunburn.
