Citrus - Grapefruit - Ruby Red

Ruby Red is popular here in the Salt River Valley & was one of the first pigmented grapefruit varieties.  It has large fruit and is almost seedless. The internal color is a light pink & the flavor is often featured in juices at the store.  Fruit is picked beginning in late fall but becomes better the longer it remains on the tree.  Grapefruit can be frost sensitive when below 29 degrees F.  Fast growing tree that can reach 20 to 25ft tall with a wide spread.
