Cactus - Prickly Pear (Crested - Crazy Bunny Ears)

The Crested Microdasys, or Crazy Bunny Ears, has a form that folds and loops back on itself to create a lime green mound. The golden areoles contrast the stem nicely and add an elegant look to the chaos of the cladodes.  Opuntia species have fine, barbed bristles called glochids.  Can grow to a height of 3ft.
