Shrubs - Arabian Lilac

Arabian Lilac is a wide spreading large shrub.  It could also be shaped into a multiple trunk tree.  Moderate growth to 15-20ft with equal or greater spread.  Flowers are purple to violet but not as showing as the Vitex/Chaste tree.  This plant is quite tolerant of desert heat, shoots may be damaged below 30 degrees but recover quickly.  

There are many locally indigenuous medicinal uses of this shrub. In fact, the entire genus Vitex is said to have medicinal uses.
