Agave - Tequila Sunrise

Agave tequilana 'Sunrise' with grayish-green rosettes and pale-yellow bands along the edges, can grow up to 6 feet wide. The leaves are stiff, erect, narrow towards the tip, and have small yellow teeth on the margins, ending in a dark brown terminal spine.  When it comes to tequila production, the main agave used is the agave tequilana. This specific type of agave is highly sought after for its high sugar content, which is essential for making tequila.
