Tropical - Loquat

Loquat is an evergreen tree with a rounded to upright canopy, growing up to 20-35 feet in height and featuring dark green, glossy leaves on the upper surface. Its fruits are oval to pear-shaped, with a light yellow to orange peel, offering a unique flavor combination of apricot, peach, plum, lemon and lime.

Loquat fruits are often eaten raw but the fruit is also found in jams, pies, and juices.  The loquat leaf and flower are also sometimes used in teas
