Mango is regarded as the queen of fruits in tropical areas of the world. Its rounded canopy may be low and dense to upright and open, with dark green foliage that is long and narrow. Worldwide, there are several hundred cultivars of mango. Depending on the cultivar, mango fruit varies in size, shape, sweetness, skin color, and flesh color, which may be pale yellow, gold, green, or orange.
Manila Mango is also known as the Phillipine Mango. The sweet-flavored, fiberless fruit of the Manila Mango tree has a skin ranging in color from orange to yellow to pink, and is slender and oblong in shape. These are tasty mangos often seen in grocery stores.
Keitt Mango are large, oval shaped fruit. Flesh is a golden orange with a sweet, fruity with a hint of tart flavor. Delicious! Skin color is a dark to medium green with an occasional hint of blush sometimes. Keitt mangoes are often enjoyed fresh when ripe or even pickled.
